Luscious Tomato Soup Recipe

INGREDIENTS
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cup heavy cream, warmed
- 1 1/2 cups low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 28-oz. can crushed tomatoes, with juice
- 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
- 1 clove garlic, chopped
- Salt and pepper
PROCEDURE
- Warm oil in a huge pan over medium-high warmth. Include onion and cook, mixing regularly, until mollified, 3 to 5 minutes. Include garlic and cook until marginally mellowed and fragrant, around 1 minute. Mix in flour to mix, around 1 minute.
- Thereafter add tomatoes with juice and soup to pan, raise warmth to high and heat to the point of boiling. Blend or whisk continually until it get marginally hardened, around 3 minutes.
- Working in clumps, cautiously exchange soup to a blender and puree until smooth. Fill a container until all soup is pureed. Return soup to pot, blend in cream and cook over low warmth for 3 to 5 minutes, until warmed through. Try not to bubble. Season with salt and pepper. Pour and serve hot in warmed bowls.
